BVR Perseus, aka "Percy"

Pedigree NARR: 10BVR0031/08NM Color: Russian Blue Agouti Siamese Ears: Standard Coat: Satin Markings: Self D.O.B. 3/26/10 D.O.D. 1/4/13 Cause of Death: Died at home in sleep due to complications of old age. Small lump over left hip noted (possibly tumor or abscess), some hind end weakness was seen in his last weeks. Weight loss due to muscle atropy and age. No significant respiratory symptoms. Was still mobile and interested in food and interaction up until the end. No necropsy performed. He loves to explore and check out what is on the other side of EVERYTHING! He is a sweet boy, who tucks sometimes but is more interested in getting the opportunity to go go go and explore at this point! He gives his share of the kisses though and is quite a doll. We can't wait to watch how he develops, and feel so lucky to have him! He also has a funny habit of wanting to test everything with his teeth. He doesn't generally bite down (unless its food or something to chew on), but he likes to feel everything, bars, hammocks, toys, even fingers (and he's very gentle with fingers!) He's such a goofy boy, but its earned him the occasional nickname of 'Nibbler'. He does it between giving kisses, and is tucking nicely, showing that he doesn't mean anything by it, he just is so curious he has to nibble at everything! <3 He also loves to groom arms and hands and faces with kisses and gentle nibbles! Since meeting his 2 younger cagemates, Bedtime and Messy, Percy has become even more active and energetic, and has joined them in their cage door climbing and jumping antics, and zooming around the cage. Its fun to watch him run around and act silly with the younger guys! RFL 2010 Judges Notes: Very Good coat, head, color, markings, temperament. Good substance, body. Fair condition, ears, and tail. Remarks: Orange head. Nice correct Satin coat. Nice stop on head, nice profile, ears a little too wideset when forward, nice eyes. Ears wrinkly. Nice face point. Want darker saddle.
